Final Destination (2000)

Directed by James Wong

The Final destination series is currently 3 movies. Each one has the same plot line as the one before it and the one before that one. The plot is that a group of individuals, mostly teens, avoid death my one person having a vision of a terrible accident. Thanks to this one person their life and the life of others are saved. However, Death begins to take each member of the "saved" individuals back into the icy folds of his dark cloak. Each and every death is a freak accident but we, and the other characters, know that Death is coming for each of them.
The movie fits into the subject of Death because the only storyline is everyone somehow getting killed. The only reason people watch these movies are because they’re curious about how the next person will die. The main character, usually a female, always makes it to the end of the film and thinks that they have once again cheated death. Then suddenly the main character, or somebody nearby, dies in a freak accident.
