Bibliography

The following is an article concerning euthanasia and the controvery surrounding this activity.

The article looks at what euthanasia is and how it is done.

I think assisted suicide and suicide should not be illegal. If somebody is in pain and doesn't want to continue living THEIR life, they should have the choice as to what they want to do. Assisted suicide is hard to justify sometimes. If an old relative is dying the family might put them out of their pain because that would be what they would want. On the other hand, there are some people whose relatives in the hospital could come out of a coma or vegatative state after 20 years. There could also be a large sum of money in that person's will and the family may not want to wait 20 years for them to die of natural causes. At this point assisted suicide becomes a tricky matter to figure out. I still think people should have to option to end their own life in the manner that they choose.
