Bibliography

In the last scene of the movie Laertes and Hamlet duel in front of a crowd. Laertes has a poisoned foil and Claudius has poisoned Hamlet's wine. They hope that Hamlet will either be wounded or drink some of his wine and die. Their plans fail when Gertrude drinks Hamlet's poisoned wine and Hamlet injures Laertes with the poisined sword then stabs Claudius. So, by the last scene of the play Hamlet, Laertes, Getrude, Claudius, Ophelia and Polonius have all died. Horatio, Hamlet's good friend speaks a few phrases concerning the death of Hamlet.

"Now cracks a noble heart. Good night sweet prince:
And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest!"
